Bio
I am a photographer based in Ohio. Having spent my childhood between the United States, England, and Canada, I developed a lasting appreciation for the character of places and the everyday moments that give them meaning. Drawn to a documentary style of photography and photojournalism, my work is rooted in curiosity, patience, and a desire to preserve honest moments as they naturally unfold.
Inspired by the work of my grandfather, Pulitzer Prize-nominated photojournalist Will Counts, I approach photography with the belief that the strongest images are discovered rather than directed. Whether documenting life on the streets of the city, photographing a wedding, or creating portraits, I strive to create photographs that feel genuine, thoughtful, and timeless; images that preserve not only what a moment looked like, but what it felt like.
I am available for weddings, engagements, family portraits, and other commissioned work throughout Ohio and beyond. My approach is intentionally documentary, allowing people and moments to unfold naturally while creating space for photographs that feel personal and true to the people in them. If you're looking for photographs that feel less posed and more like a reflection of your experience, I would love to hear from you.
